Award Eligibility
The awards are open to educators, services and programs providing early childhood and outside school hours education and care, including:

- long day care
- family day care
- kindergarten
- preschool
- outside school hours care
- playgroups
- other programs and services catering for children aged from birth to five years such as Families as First Teachers and Aboriginal community services.
Nominations for education programs provided by schools from the year of Transition are not eligible for these awards.
